Things to do...

Martinborough is all about relaxing, you can tour the vineyards, taste and purchase some wine, you can dine at the vineyard cafes or in the village cafes, you can play golf, go horse riding, take a drive to lake ferry, play in the river, kayaking or swimming, you can go on bush walks, play some bowls, got to the movies or go to one of the many day spa's or just do nothing and enjoy the lovely surroundings!

The bedroom is simple with a modern comfortable bed, made up with fresh cotton linen and a sumptous duvet and blankets to keep you warm and snug... and on those chilly evenings there is an electric blanket to take the chill off...

The bathroom decor is clean and white with a shower over the bath a modern sink and plenty of space for your toiletries! with a few scented candles burning you can relax is a hot bubble bath and even have a view of the vines... there are lovely warm lush bath robes for you to relax in after your soak...

The Interior - kitchen and living area

Ambeli Cottage is cute and cosy! It's combined living and kitchen is simple but stylish and relaxed - the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, with lovely old style cuterly and fine large wine glasses. The living area has a lovely comfy old stlye couch in a traditional linen fabric strewen with lovely cushions... as well as sea grass chairs this is the ideal place for sitting, reading, chatting, and enjoying a morning coffee or of course a glass of Martinborough wine. There is a stylish studio fire that will keep you toasty warm during those winter nights and chilly mornings - just get it roaring and you won't want to leave.

The cottage has 2 sets of french doors opening out to decks - so you can enjoy both the morning and evening sun... sitting on the deck in summer and looking over the surrounding vines is one of lifes great pleasures... and if you stay outside long enough on those balmy summer evenings you will be rewarded with the most magnificent view of the stars.
